Ritec Services just completed the stunning ‘as-new’ restoration of over 1,170m2 of light and dark grey powder coated doors, frames and cladding with Ritecoat R630 on a retail unit in Breda, The Netherlands.

Moisture, Alkalinity and Dirt (MAD) can easily cause glass, exterior or interior, to become ‘Problem Glass’. Glass is all around us and, when new, it promises visibility, clarity and cleanliness. A keen runner and professional glass artist has created a giant sculpture protected by the ClearShield Eco-System™ to raise money for charity while also encouraging people to push themselves to their limit Clive Sparkes, who runs Go Glass, in Cambridge, has created a two-metre high sculpture of a runner which he is auctioning for CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families. The sculpture depicts the runner crossing a finishing line with the slogan “Pushing the Limits”.

Just look at the difference Ritecoat R625 has made to the polycarbonate windows on this Highspeed 6 Ferry owned by Hellenic Seaways. In the ‘Before’ picture you can see how the windows have been corroded by sea water salt spray. The ‘After’ picture shows the glass has been restored to its original condition. Surfaces protected with Ritecoat R625 are easier to clean, resistant to staining and look like new for longer. New ClearShield Eco-System™ Wows Prestigious Judging Panel at Ecobuild 2015 Ritec are celebrating this week after being named one of the top five new innovations of Ecobuild 2015, the world’s biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment. Ritec were one of five businesses chosen for The Big Innovation Pitch, an initiative aiming to unearth innovation across the sustainable design, construction and energy sectors. The final five were grilled ‘Dragon’s Den’ Style by representatives from M&S, the CPA, CIBSE and BAM FM.

Over 40 employees from the Cornwall Glass Group have recently received expert training from Ritec International in applying the new ClearShield Eco-System™. Glaziers and production staff undertook the training to apply the market-leading glass surface treatment to both installed and new glass.
